- Created BOM’s (matlists, datasets, catalogues and libraries) for new products at a number of window and door manufacturers (including purchase costs, mark-ups and
discounts to achieve selling prices) as well as tool code set-up for the control of shop floor machinery.
- Implemented and supported sales, manufacturing, inventory and accounts system from small to large window and door manufacturers in both Europe and North
America.
- Created various system generated reports (Seagate Crystal, Delphi Report Builder), customised to the needs of each specific client.
- Developed business solutions following the definition of organisational requirements such as scope, processes, alternatives and risk.
- Analysed requirements and processes through; document analysis, interviews, workshops, workflow analysis, GAP analysis (organisational goals and existing
procedures/skill sets), designing new processes and system improvements.
- Documented existing policies and procedures, developed application specific recommendations and presented these to stakeholders. Agreed objectives and produced a
project charter, project plan and management groups with project procedures along with agreed milestones.
- Introduced automated inventory control systems based on Lean manufacturing/Kanban/JIT methodologies.
- Configured Trade & Logistics ERP modules;
- BOMs and Routes (item configurations, groups, BOM levels and versions, etc.)
- Distribution & Trade (purchase orders, trade agreements, arrivals, quarantine,
returns, etc.)
- Supply Chain (products, inventory management, sales orders, quality management, journals,
etc.)
- Item Model Groups (production orders, transfer orders, quarantine orders, quality orders,
etc.)
- Used serial and batch numbers to trace products for tracking, quality assurance and warranties
- Introduced Quality Management (quality control, validation parameters, sampling, stores areas, etc)
- Developed, agreed and implemented a project (Work Package) to integrate Salesforce CRM with Dynamics AX for a large advertising company as part of a full Dynamics AX
implementation.
- Mentoring and training colleagues and clients as well as providing support and guidance.
- Used Microsoft Sure Step methodology to continuously improve the quality of projects.
